Raksmey joined Manvel Animal Clinic in 2020, after earning her Veterinary Assistant certificate from Pima Medical Institute in 2019. 

What she enjoys most about veterinary medicine is—of course—the animals! While she knew early on that human nursing wasn’t for her, working with pets felt like the perfect calling.

Raksmey lives in Pearland with her 3 beloved companions: her dog Maki, “the bestest, most perfect girl”; her cat Ditto, “the menace”; and her “bonus cat” Tsuki, a little old lady who doesn’t care about anything.  In her spare time, Raksmey enjoys reading, catching up on sleep, and watching Godzilla movies (she’s a big fan!). 

She’s known for her calm presence, sense of humor, and deep love for all creatures—great and small.
